Project overview

A skilled doctor cannot treat a patient without supplies. Across Gaza, clinicians describe performing procedures without enough of the basics — dressings, antibiotics, anaesthetics, insulin. Emergency Medical Supplies exists to keep those shelves stocked so medical staff can do the work they are trained and willing to do.

This project is demand-led, not donation-led. Working with pharmacists and hospital administrators, we maintain a live list of the most-needed items and procure exactly those — not whatever is easiest to send. Antibiotics, wound-care consumables, maternity kits, chronic-disease medicines and operating-theatre supplies are prioritised according to what clinicians are actually short of this week.

Getting supplies to the right place is as important as buying them. Our logistics team manages procurement, cold-chain handling for temperature-sensitive medicines, customs and coordination, and delivery to the hospitals, clinics and mobile teams that need each consignment — with documentation at every step so donors can see their gift arrive.

The purpose is simple and unwavering: keep the doctors and nurses of Gaza able to treat the sick and wounded. They have not stopped working. This project makes sure they are not left empty-handed.
