Fight for Palestine

Refund Policy

Effective date: 11 September 2026

Donations to Fight for Palestine are gifts in support of humanitarian programmes, and in most cases they are put to work quickly. We do, however, understand that mistakes happen: a mistyped amount, or the same gift sent twice. This policy explains when and how we refund donations.

When we refund

Crypto transfers are final on the blockchain: neither we nor anyone else can reverse them. But if a gift reached our wallet by mistake, contact us within 14 days of the transfer and we will review it. Eligible situations include:

  • Donation sent in error. For example, you sent the wrong amount (such as an extra zero).
  • Duplicate donation. The same gift was sent twice.

We can only refund funds that actually arrived in our wallet. Coins sent on the wrong network, or to an address other than those on our Donate page, may be unrecoverable.

How to request a refund

Email donations@fightforpalestine.org with:

  • the transaction ID (hash), coin and network;
  • the date and amount of the transfer; and
  • a short description of what went wrong.

Never send us your private keys or recovery phrase. We will never ask for them. We acknowledge refund requests within two working days and aim to resolve them within seven.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned in the same coin, on the same network, to a wallet address you confirm you control. We refund the amount of coin we received, not its value in another currency. The network fee for the return transfer may be deducted.

After the 14-day window

Because donations fund aid that is procured and delivered rapidly, we generally cannot refund gifts reported more than 14 days after the transfer. We will still review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis, so please contact us either way.
