The situation
Displacement in Gaza is not a single event — many families have moved five, six, seven times. Each move means starting over: finding shelter, bedding, cooking equipment and protection from heat and cold.
Our shelter programme distributes emergency kits — tarpaulins, tools, rope, ground insulation, blankets and cooking sets — that let a family establish a safe, dry, dignified living space quickly.
Where conditions allow, we go further: sealing damaged rooms, repairing roofs, and restoring one safe room within a damaged home. A single weatherproof room transforms a family's daily life.
As reconstruction becomes possible, this fund will shift toward permanent rebuilding — because every family we serve deserves more than surviving; they deserve to come home.
